Damn sick wei!!

Sorry i had been out of commission of two weeks. God had a serious case of sick attack. First the food poisoning then the fever then the headache then the other stuff. !!! Rough week man!! ANd of all times to get sick i get sick when my test is just a few days away!!

What makes a person tick..

Part 2 now.. what makes a person tick. After some research and asking around. A lot of people says that LOVE makes a person tick but some others say that it's MONEY. Well either way i don give a damn what you say because im the one writing the post LOL!!

Hehe kidding, any feed back would be useful though. Well from my point of view, a person is defined as a person if he or she is able to express themselves without having to hide their emotions and feelings. For instance, have you ever gotten hurt and i mean really hurt but you don't wanna tell your friends because to them, you are a smiling happy person that never is always in a happy go lucky mood.. well if you ever felt that then rest assured that you are not alone, a lot of people tend to hide their true feelings and nature from the world. Of course you can always confide in a friend but there is only SO MUCH that you can tell. It's like you can only tell 10% of your problems from your friends and the other 90% is left for you to sulk in.

If you are able to show your true feelings without having to worry about what other people might say then you are living a happy life without having to worry about anyone finding out about you secrets because there are none. It's easier said than done, because come on, who would tell their best kept secrets to anybody! No one, that's why even though we know that there is a way to release us from our secrets we dare not try it because we are scared of the things people might say about us.

Hmm what else that makes us tick according to me. I may say that it would be our personality, let's face it. Where would we be if we were not who we are(understand?? i don't). If i was not outgoing or funny or dumb, then i wouldn't be me would i? Be true to yourself. That's my advice.. Do not change yourself for the sake of someone or something and lose control and forget who you really are. If you are funny and caring don't change all that just because your friends are not like that and you just want to fit in. "What makes you tick" is just another sentence for what makes you YOU.. i may be able to come up with tens of thousands of reasons that makes a person but at the end it's you that will determine how you tick. Ask yourself a few questions if you are unsure of yourself..

1) Am i happy being who i am now?
2) Was i always like this?
3) If no then who was i before this?
4) Do i still want to continue being like this?
5) How can i change for the better?

I am no psycologist but i have ask myself those questions before and im surprised by my answers. Well i am getting the feeling i always get when i write my essay and when i run out of ideas. What is in a relationship...

Hii!! haha well here comes another topic on an action of expression that humanity does all the time... Yes it's a relationship..

Well define a relationship.. to put it easily, it's usually the scene you see at local shopping centers. A guy and a girl holding hands walking side by side smiling widely as if no one knows that they are together.. Exception cases of course are guy and guy, girl and girl, parents and children. Lol!!

But what is a relationship!? What? Is it saying "I love you" & "I miss you" or "You mean a lot to me" and etc and thats all there is to it? OF course not! But first timers tend to think that thats all to a relationship.. especially the guys. The girls may have real feelings for the guy but first timer guys tend to just go with the flow and "experiment" with the relationship but not actually indulging in it. But of course there are exceptions that a guy actually falls in love or actually puts his time and effort into the relationship..

What IS HE talking ABOUT?? you may ask..
Ask a person about a relationship and the first thing that pops to mind would be..
- holding hands
- kissing
- making out
- going out
- movies
- dark places
- "I love you" "Be mine" "miss you"
- spending money$$$
- PDA (Public Display of Affection)
- sexy body(guys)
- cutie that belongs to me(girls)

Well theres a lot more but this is a blog post not an english essay..
Sure Sure above all happens in a relationship but is it THAT important...
It's important in a sense that both enjoy the fun in doing "stuff"
but what happens when a serious matter happens between the couple or when they try to talk about future plans or things that are out of the "topic".. Here walks in our friends "doubt" & "uncertainty"

Many couples tend to argue even for the most simple things like who is suppose to put the phone down first or why didn't you call me last night... And sometimes this even leads to potential break ups.
Point is that a relationship is no joke. It takes commitment and time and patience to let it grow and blossom. Like a flower...

Here we see what's is REALLY in a relationship..

1)Mutual respect- are you really who you say you are. A Gf or Bf tend to act like somebody they are not to please the other. Are you doing that?? Respect in a relationship is that both the Gf and Bf must be able to value and accept who their partner really is. And would give them the space they need.

2)Trust- A really easy example would.. You are talking to this cute boy in a coffee shop and having a good time and your boyfriend walks by. Does he take it nicely because he knows you well enough and trusts that you would never cheat on him? It's natural to feel jealous sometimes but never let jealousy take control of how you think of a partner. A relationship without trust is like bread without butter.. Hehe

3)Honesty- the best policy. This works together with trust as a whole. How can your partner trust you is you yourself is not honest with him or her. For example, your boyfriend catches you at the movies with your friends when in fact YOU told HIM you were STUDYING..what would he think. He would have to think twice before ever trusting you again.

4) Support - It's the times when you are down that you will need a shoulder to lean on. OF course your best friends and parents are always there but your partner would be a better choice. You can rely on them to always be there even though they have to be somewhere else. And you can always tell them everything there is that hurts you.

5) Fairness- there is no such thing as a one sided relationship that works. It's always about the give and take. Do you take turns choosing where to eat or the types of movies to see. Or are you always the one keeping quiet because you are scared that it may be a stupid idea. As a couple, do you spend more times with your friends or your partner? Of course im not asking you to keep track but and make sure the ratio is always 1:1. Just keep it in a fair balance.

6) Living a different life - before you were in a relationship, you were going out for sports, hanging out with friends and spending time with your family. That doesn't need to change just because you are in a relationship. Live your life as it was and just add your partner into the picture. Of course you are suppose to make compromises but that does not mean that you have to like something you hate or hate something you like.

7) Good communication- Ever heard the saying " a girl never means what they say", No means yes and yes means no? The phrase "nothings wrong" can easily be badly interpreted depending on who is saying it. But don't ever guess what the other is saying. Instead, Just come out straight and ask what you do not understand so there are no miscommunication. Never keep a feeling bottled up because you're afraid it's not what your BF or GF wants to hear or because you worry about sounding silly.

Well i can't say that im an expert at "LOVE" but i do have experiences and by looking at other couples around me. This is what i could write. Hope you enjoyed it.

What makes a person tick...

What is it that makes a person unique. Is it their looks? Their Personality? The amount of money they have? The way they dress? Or is it the people they hang out with?

Kind of makes you wonder does it? What makes YOU tick. I personally think that a person is made out of different things that makes them special.. but most importantly it's LOVE. A person can't survive on food or money alone. Well maybe they can but they happiness will be gone once their material wealth is gone.

Its funny.. Sometimes you feel that a person is right for you and shes the one. The one that will make u whole.(learn a lot from movies) but the next minute you get a sense of resentment. Well Maybe some people are just overly sensitive and what that is shown to them is never the real thing and sometimes it's just the right thing to follow you heart.

A day out

Whew well finally its time for the holidays. Not much of a holiday but still a holiday no more no less. Some friends came back from studying so we went to Times Square for a movie. Resident Evil.

Great Movie!! Thumbs Up~~ 5 stars!!!
But damn director is putting a lot of electric sparks in the movie to scare us of our feet.~U will know what im talking about when you watch the movir yourself~

Phew B4 the movie we went to low yat to get some com parts. We as in everyone but me. Well interesting place to be but unfortunately i had nothing in particular to shop. So i just waited... and waited... and waited... and waited!! almost late for the movie too~

So after the movie we went home. On the way back on the monorail i saw something very interesting.

Dye Hair!

Alright!! Im gonna Dye my hair in approx five minutes and counting!! Hope it turns out good if not im gonna stare at the mirror with my damn mouth wide open.... WIsh me luck guys!!

Feelings lo.

Well finally its towards the end of the year and i see my life passing again. Well what have i done this year. Guess not much. Got hurt.. hurted others.. well life's not perfect. Well so am i... but i guess its time like this that really gets me going to think that maybe i could have done something more with myself than i could have. I guess i disappointed some people. I gave promises that i couldn't keep. I gave my word to do stuff that i did not do. Sorry seems hardly the appropriate word at times like this. I wonder if things had been different if i went that day... i wonder. Well i wonder a lot of things. And this meaningless existence is one of it. If i was suppose to do something big. The order is not here yet. Here i want to apologize to the feelings i have hurt, to the ones whose feelings i have ill heartedly trampled. I have been a jerk to you guys and im sorry. Even though its hard to believe. I really am.

Finally finished The last trial exam paper!!! Then straight away went to celebrate wei ning's birthday. Woo was fun lo. First we had our lunch at sushi king. Damn expensive lo the food there!!

Cake Making Again!!

Well another day in my dishy world.
Had a com science test today. Whatever you do...always bring a jacket. I swear that i was constantly rubbing my hands hoping to create fire!!

Well after that went over to my house to bake a bake with the dynamic duo lo.
HaihZ...... Shu yi ar.... use a proper knife to cut chocolate lo... she's like using a butter knife and cutting the block of chocolate and when all else fails. You a rolling pin as a hammer and hammer all the way down until you cut it..

Well things were going smoothly or so it seemed... Mixed the cheese...Added the whipped cream and added the chocolates. Seemed like i could go through this without any trouble at all

WRONG!!!
Things HAD to go wrong. For heavens sake lar... can't you two get along even for two hours!! Ish so im not really sure how it started but as i turn my back. I see two chocolate covered fellas. One had it on his face and the other on her hands. Next water splashing in my kitchen. MY KITCHEN!!! MY HOLY GROUNDS!!! Ish!!

She's like LIP BOON and he's like TAN SHU YI!! Then both carrying breakable cups filling them up with water and started acting like a couple of four years old.. Haih finally got them to stop i hoped. And they went home!!!! YAY!!!!
